Laborama, an initiative of the professional association UDIAS, has become the meeting point by excellence for the laboratory sector in Belgium. Every year both Belgian and European exhibitors participate at Laborama in order to present their products to the laboratory professionals who visit the trade fair.

ACHEMA is the world forum of the process industry and the trend-setting technology summit for chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology. The 30th ACHEMA will again be the leading international meeting point for decision-makers and experts from all related industries.

The Plant Breeding Institute (PBI), Cambridge, would have been celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2012. The ground-breaking science, plant breeding technology and a host of new arable crop varieties that came out of PBI formed the back-bone of UK crop research. Many of the former staff are still very much taking an active and vital role in underpinning plant breeding and plant science in the UK and international scientific community. To mark the event, there is a one day conference with talks, demonstration plots and a historical exhibition at the John Innes Centre, Norwich.

This is the fourth international meeting on controlled environments for research in biology of plants and animals following the Canberra symposium in 1962 and the Littlehampton symposium of 1971. It aims to foster the interaction between scientists and engineers, users and managers of CEs across the world.
