Weiss Gallenkamp launch new SGC 110

Weiss Gallenkamp are relaunching the SGC 110 with a new control system.

The new SIMPAC controller technology features:

• 3.5 inch TFT Colour Touch Panel
• Capacity to store 100 programmes
• Real Time Programming
• Trend Graphic
• Ethernet interface
• USB-Interface for direct documentation of data on a memory stick
• BlackBox-Function for recording of internal process data for easy error detection
• Integrated WebServer for Operation and Control by PC or mobile Unit (e.g. PDA, iPhone...) with the Internet-Browser

The new controller will be fitted to all variants of the SGC 110:

Constant Temperature Chamber
Plant Growth Chamber
Arabidopsis Chamber
Seed Storage Chamber
Seed Germination Chamber
Tissue Culture Chamber
Insect Incubation Chamber

The SGC 110 is the most innovative environmental test chamber available. It is completely unique in that it is adaptable by the user at any time to suit changing
research needs. It is this versatility combined with exceptional quality that sets the SGC 110 apart from any other.

The SGC 110 in it’s original format, the Constant Temperature Chamber, is supplied with 10 wire
shelves, giving a usable shelf space of 4.5m2. This can be easily transformed into any of the other variants such as Plant Growth, Arabidopsis, Tissue Culture, Seed Storage, Seed Germination and Insect Incubation.

What may have originally been purchased as a Plant Growth Chamber can be easily adapted by the user to become an Insect Incubation Chamber for example.
Transformations are completed simply by the addition of steel shelves, fluorescent lighting and an ultrasonic humidifier where applicable.

The quality of construction and durability with which Weiss Gallenkamp has become synonymous is evident throughout, with a corrosion resistant stainless steel interior and painted protected steel exterior.

The SGC 110 uses high frequency fluorescent lamps with user-set power regulation to enable the exact setting of light output levels. The main fluorescent lamps can be dimmed from their maximum level down to 10% of the maximum
output. High Frequency lamps have the advantage of low energy usage and long life (typically 16,000 hrs use).
