SAMPE 2009 Conference
Showcasing the recently re-launched Gallenkamp Oven range, now branded as Votsch Ovens, Weiss Gallenkamp held the highest profile exhibition display at SAMPE 2009.
The stand proved to be a success, generating a great deal of interest and resulting in a large number of enquiries.
SAMPE is the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering and is globally recognised as the leading professional body for engineers and technologists associated with advanced materials and processes.
In addition to the static display, there was also a rolling presentation featuring the Hephaistos Industrial Microwave. The Hephaistos presents significant advantages over traditional heating methods, including:
Reduced production costs
– Shorter heating, process and cooling times compared to conventional methods, saving energy as a result.
Specific, volumetric heating of products
Microwaves penetrate into the material directly and heat the product. As a result, heating rates and throughput can be increased considerably.
High product quality by sufficient homogeneity of the microwave fields
Thanks to the use of thermoelectric foils additional positive effects and material characteristics are achieved.
Modular design
The systems designed extend from the laboratory up to the large scale that is needed in the aviation industry for example.
For many years the Gallenkamp Oven range was extremely successful and widely renowned for quality and durability. The Votsch Ovens will continue the leagcy of the Gallenkamp Ovens and set new standards within the market.
The range includes:
- Industrial Ovens such as Heating & Drying, Vacuum, Clean Room, Explosion-Proof and Tempering Ovens
- Pharmaceutical Ovens such as Dry Heat Sterilisers, Heating & Drying and Explosion-Proof Ovens
- Custom Oven Projects for almost any thermotechnical process.
