The most recent addition of Weiss Gallenkamp equipment to the School of BioSciences at The University of Reading was three high-specification Plant Growth Rooms. The rooms will be used for various experiments and will be particularly suitable for culturing plants and insects, which forms a key element of the university’s research. To perform this level of research the facilities need to be state of the art, with high specifications, high performance levels and exceptional reliability, due to the value of the research that the facilities underpin. The experiments and research performed demand precise control and uniformity of conditions such as temperature and humidity, and these are core attributes of the Weiss Gallenkamp Plant Growth Rooms.
