SGC 110 Insect storage and incubation chamber
Weiss Gallenkamp have designed the SGC 110 Insect Chamber to be suitable for insect storage & insect incubation for a variety of insect species such as Drosophila, Bees, Locusts & Preying Mantis' for example enabling entomologists to store insects under a variety of conditions.
Insect Incubation
Well suited to establishments where insect storage & insect incubation is of prime importance, the SGC 110 can be tailored to suit specific entomology requirements with a range of shelving & lighting options depending on the amount of storage space needed and the height required between the shelves. Lighting is provided by High Frequency 'Insect-Friendly' lighting which is individually controllable for each shelf.
Insect Storage
With an 1100 cubic litre capacity, the SGC 110 can provide a shelf storage area of 5.6m2 and also excellent uniformity across the temperature range of -2°C to 50°C with lights off and +10°C to 35°C with lights on. If required then we can also provide a humidifier capable of providing up to 80% relative humidity.
