Diurnal cycling control using electronic condition sequencer allows independent selection of day/night conditions for temperature and relative humidity (r.h.), photoperiod of main lighting system, and frequency and duration of supplementary red spectrum lamps. The sequencer displays real time and has a battery back-up in case of mains power interrupt.
For user convenience both actual plant growth chamber conditions and day/night set values for temperature and % relative humidity are permanently displayed on the control panel. All test condition parameters can be viewed at a glance:
The 3.5 inch TFT Colour Touch Panel allows a wide range of user programmable options to be selected. Temperature and humidity conditions can be set at the touch of a button, as can day/night timings. SIMPAC also features a 100 program memory, graphical representation of conditions inside the chamber and a user-settable safety thermostat to define upper and lower limits.
The design and functionality of SIMPAC is such that it allows users to spend minimal time on the complexities of programming and to concentrate on the tests themselves.
