Climatic and Environmental stress screening (ESS), HASS and HALT
Increasingly there is the need to test products at high temperature and humidity change rates. Our standard ESS chambers have temperature change rates of 5K/min, 10K/min and 15K/min. For special applications change rates of up to 30K/min can be specified.
Test space volume 180 litres to 1500 litres - Temperature range -70°C to +180°C

Our chambers are used in highly accelerated life testing (HALT) and highly accelerated stress screening (HASS).
The inside of the chamber is made of high gloss polished stainless steel that is welded vapour tight, with rounded edges and moulded shelf supports. It is resistant to corrosive attack and can be easily cleaned.
Integrated lighting provides excellent viewing of the test specimens.
The humidifier and dehumidifier system is based on the use of a humidification bath. This ensures that water consumption is kept low whilst still ensuring rapid reaction times.
The measurement of humidity is via an automatically wetted, self cleaning humidity sensor.
Our climatic and environmental stress screening chambers are further complimented by the Weiss and Votsch shock test chambers and combined temperature and vibration test chambers.
