Weiss Gallenkamp Service Support
Weiss Gallenkamp provides a comprehensive range of service support for our environmental test chambers, plant growth chambers and rooms, pharmaceutical stability chambers, laboratory ovens, temperature test chambers and climatic stress testing chambers.
Our dedicated teams of engineers are fully trained in all electrical, electronic, mechanical and software aspects of our products and provide approved maintenance procedures when carrying out repairs, maintenance and modifications.
Engineers are located throughout the UK providing the minimum response time to all customers whatever the location. All engineers carry a large range of replacement items and are regularly re-stocked to ensure you receive a swift and speedy service.
In addition to full warranty support Weiss Gallenkamp provides:

Refurbishment and commissioning services are available on the full range of environmental testing chambers of any age, throughout the UK.
Calibration
All of the Weiss Gallenkamp calibration procedures are traceable to the UKAS standard. Calibration can be carried out at the required number of temperature and/or humidity values.
Product support
The engineers are linked via Laptops’ and mobile phones with the UK technical department to ensure that timely work is undertaken to the highest standards.

CFC refrigerant gas
Weiss Gallenkamp operates a corporate policy of eliminating harmful ozone-depleting CFC refrigeration gases in line with the Montreal protocol.
Our commitment is to ensure that
- Replacement parts of our all new equipment is CFC free.
- Weiss Gallenkamp actively pursuing the replacement of CFC refrigerants in older equipment.
- Depending on equipment age and size CFC refrigerants are reclaimed and replaced with HFC equivalents having no ozone depleting potential and similar performance.
- Where suitable HFC alternatives are not yet available or where older equipment is not compatible, low ozone depletion drop-in alternative gases are used (HCFC's).
- We operate a policy of responsible refrigeration - all gases are reclaimed, documented as a controlled waste consignment and returned to suppliers for disposal.
Our service engineers hold qualifications in refrigerant gas handling (2078) and are registered with the Refrigeration Industry Board (ACRIB). They carry refrigerant reclaim units and accurate electronic gas leak detectors, to continually minimise the release of refrigerants to atmosphere.
